What’s Your Favourite Storybook When You Were A Kid?

It’s Children’s Day in Singapore today!

Although most of us are no longer eligible to enjoy a day off, its still a good time to reminisce the good old days when we were kids. Without high tech toys and gadgets, many of us spend wonderful moments in the world of children storybooks.

Published by Rossier School of Education and created by Lemon Wood Design, here’s a fun and informative infographic which summarised our favourite reads as a way to celebrate children’s literature throughout the years. It also includes a mention of some not quite so children’s books, like the Twilight series – not too sure why.

Found my favourite childhood storybook ‘Charlie & The Chocolate Factory’ which also happened to be my lower secondary literature textbook within the infographic. Loved the story and I remembered that I read it over and over in order not to miss out any details. Never for a single moment felt like I was studying for my literature exam.

How about you? Did you manage to find your favourite childhood book from the infographic too? Share with us in the comments section below.
