Reasons that make them not fit for office or workplace consumption are several, which range from smell all the way to stickiness. These are the kind of snacks or foods that you cannot sneak around or eat in peace without anyone noticing, because their smell or potential to mess your space is enough to sell you out. Types Of Snacks You Should Avoid Carrying To Work/Office

These are the kind of foods you should avoid bringing/eating in the office;

  • Candy snacking sounds like a good idea until you end up with sticky fingers. The sugar in candy contributes to its stickiness and that is not the kind of mess you want to deal with while at work place. If you have to eat candy while at work, let it be modest.
  • Tuna or any other fried smelly fish. Eating fish is never a bad idea, but where you are eating it from can be. If there is something you should avoid eating while at work place, it is anything with strong smell such as fish. The fish smell is not something everyone working around you would like to sniff on. It can be even worse if you warm it in the office microwave.
  • Alcoholic drinks. It is hard to find a work place that condones taking alcoholic drinks while working, so you shouldn’t be bringing some bottle of whiskey at work if you value your job so much.
  • This is yet another strong-smelled item you shouldn’t try taking while at work. There are people who can’t tolerate the smell, so wait until you are in the comfort of your home and you can indulge on as much quantity as you may wish.
  • Crunchy snacks like chips. Not everyone is always in eating mood when you happen to be in one so it is very disrespectful to your fellow workers when you munch on noisy crunchy snacks in their presence. How will they even concentrate in what they are doing with all that noise?
