It has been more than four years since Red Velvet’s last concert in Singapore, and the group is looking forward to returning and performing on 21 April 2023 at The Star Theatre.
This show is part of their fourth concert tour, titled “R to V”, which will kick off with two shows on 1 and 2 April in Seoul, South Korea. This tour marks Red Velvet’s highly-anticipated return to the live stage since their last concert, “La Rouge”.
Red Velvet debuted under SM Entertainment in 2014; their music style experiments with contrasting genres such as funk and ballad, resulting in a unique sound and addictive hooks.
The five members—WENDY, IRENE, SEULGI, JOY, and YERI—realised their ambitions to captivate the world with sophisticated music and performances through continuous hit tracks such as “Ice Cream Cake” (2015), “Russian Roulette” (2016), “Red Flavour” (2017), “Bad Boy” (2018), and “Psycho” (2019).
The quintet was in the ranks of Spotify’s “Top 10 K-pop Artists Globally” in 2022, and won the award for “Best Female Performance Award” at the 2022 Genie Music Awards.
Their latest mini album “The ReVe Festival 2022 – Birthday”, released in November 2022, sold more than a million copies by January 2023, proving their ever-present influence on the music world.
