Convivial Singapore: Champagne Bar Marks Its First Anniversary

2 Mins read

Convivial, Singapore’s first and only dedicated Champagne bar, is celebrating its first anniversary this September with a series of exclusive events and offerings that promise to make this a month to remember for all Champagne enthusiasts. Situated on the fringe of Boat Quay, Convivial offers an intimate atmosphere that transports guests to the heart of a Champagne cave in France, providing a sophisticated escape in the city.

A Year of Bubbles and Celebration

Founded by Yeo Xi Yang, the winner of the Singapore National Sommelier Competition 2022, Convivial has quickly become a go-to destination for those seeking a unique and refined Champagne experience. Yang, whose impressive career spans over a decade, has carefully curated a selection of around 170-200 labels, including boutique Champagne growers, red, white, and orange wines, and artisanal ciders. Each bottle tells a story that captivates both connoisseurs and newcomers alike.

As Convivial celebrates this milestone, the bar extends its heartfelt gratitude to its suppliers and the exceptional Champagne brands that have supported it throughout the year. To commemorate the occasion, guests are invited to join the grand celebration party, where they can indulge in exclusive Champagne offerings and Convivial’s signature bites, all while enjoying a lively and festive atmosphere.

Exclusive Champagne Henri Giraud Release

In honour of its first anniversary, Convivial is thrilled to launch an exclusive collaboration with Champagne Henri Giraud. This limited-edition release features bottles specially engraved with the Convivial logo, available for $295 per bottle or $59 per glass. The Champagne is a perpetual reserve blend, with ⅓ of the wine dating from 1990 to 2021 and ⅔ from vintages spanning the 1950s to today. This unique blend pays tribute to time and legacy, reflecting Convivial’s mission to establish a lasting legacy in the world of fine bubbles.

As Singapore’s only Champagne bar to feature this collaboration with Henri Giraud, renowned for its partnerships with top restaurants like Odette, Convivial underscores its commitment to offering exceptional and distinctive Champagnes. Guests can savour this special release, which captures the vibrant and ethereal qualities that mirror Convivial’s dedication to excellence.

An Unforgettable Experience Awaits

Convivial is more than just a Champagne bar; it’s an experience that combines elegance, intimacy, and a passion for the finest bubbles. The bar’s captivating ambiance, with soft lighting and intimate seating, ensures that every visit is memorable. Whether you are a Champagne connoisseur or a curious newcomer, Convivial provides a welcoming space where everyone can explore and enjoy the richness of Champagne culture.

To enhance the celebration, Convivial is also extending its popular birthday offer throughout September. Guests who order a magnum of Champagne will receive a complimentary 750ml bottle of Blanc de Blancs, a gesture that mirrors the generosity and joy that Convivial has shared with its patrons over the past year.

Join Convivial in celebrating its first anniversary and experience the magic of Champagne in a setting that is as luxurious as the bubbles in your glass. With its carefully curated selection of Champagnes, wines, and gourmet bites, Convivial continues to set the standard for excellence in Singapore’s dining and nightlife scene.
