This year, travellers can rejoice at the abundance of long weekends due to Labour Day, Hari Raya Puasa, Hari Raya Haji and Christmas, opening up multiple possibilities for three-day breaks without having to take any annual leave. Travellers looking for longer getaways can take advantage of Vesak Day, National Day and Deepavali – which all fall on Wednesdays this year – to enjoy five-day breaks, using just two days of annual leave.
