Five Must-Do Things In Dubai

When you think of the United Arab Emirates, the first destination that comes to mind is Dubai, and with good measure. Dubai is the mecca of all things big and extravagant. A vacation there can be as lavish and incredible as you want to make it and below we have the top 5 must do’s while discovering this warm and unique place. 

1. Sleep In The Tallest Building

Dubai’s Burj Khalifa sits at 828 meters with 163 floors. At least one night in the tallest building in the world is a must-do. Basically a destination in itself, you can eat dinner at the highest restaurant in the world on level 122, check out the world’s highest observation deck on level 148, sail the Dubai Fountain on traditional abra boats or enjoy the light shows on the weekends. You will be completely and fully entertained here but be quick, the next tallest building in the world is set to open in 2021.

2. Rent A Ferrari

There aren’t many places in the world where renting a Ferrari is an extremely normal tourist thing to do. You technically will stand out driving this luxury vehicle but at the same time, you’ll also blend in. Due to Dubai’s infrastructure, the streets are perfect to cruise along or you can head to the 12 lane roads to take her for a spin. Just remember the speed limit which is 120km/h. 

3. Dubai’s Traditional Food 

Dubai is the place to eat, and not just 5-star restaurants, but at some local joints serving up some great affordable cuisine. There are some great dishes to try while you are visiting. Margoogat, Al Machboos, Khameer, Tabbouleh, Manousheh are all must-tries, along with some sweet treats like Luqaimat and Kanafeh. 4. A Desert Tour

A Desert Safari Tour is a great way to see and experience a unique part of Dubai. You head out into the sand dunes and end up in a camp set up with a stage and areas to sit for dinner. You get to enjoy a buffet of Arabic food which includes dessert and unlimited, non-alcoholic, drinks. A camel ride and a photo with an eagle is also on the menu.

5. Visit Miracle Garden

Calling the Miracle Garden a floral dreamland is an understatement. This botanical garden on steroids boasts 72,000 sqm of incredibly beautiful flowers. You can enjoy Disney Avenue, lost paradise, a life-sized Emirates A 380 airplane, the floral castle, a butterfly, umbrella and heart passage, a giant teddy bear and an oversized flower clock. It really is a must-see while visiting Dubai.
