If you are on to our basic gold guide, you must be a playing fan of RuneScape. The highly addictive game captured the hearts of millions around the world and command one of the largest following in the gaming arena. Being a competitive community, you need funds to progress in the game. Gielinor is full of secrets and wonderful activities. There are a number of currencies but gold stands out most. There are minigames with specific kinds of currencies that can be earned and spent inside them. Here are some of them:

1. Archery ticket

Used only in the Archer Guild, this special ticket can be exchanged for goods from the Ranging Guild Ticket Exchange but not anywhere else. We must admit that this is not one of the most useful currencies. To make better use of your time and effort, go hunt for osrs gold instead.

2. Rusty coins

This currency can be obtained in Dungeoneering to buy items from the Smuggler. Unfortunately, they can’t be used elsewhere, hence be sure to spend them all when you are there!

3. Trading Sticks

Unlike the previous 2 currencies, this is the second most valuable currency in the game. Trading sticks can be used to buy and sell items in multiple RuneScape places.

4. Zemomark

This currency is used to buy items in New Varrock. There are multiple methods to farm for Zemomarks, but they will depend on each player’s time and resources. Either way, you may spend them as much as you like, but the sad part is that you won’t be able to store them. So before you commit to proceed with your preferred farming methods, keep in mind that you need to get rid of them asap.

5. Chronotes

This currency is used in the Archaeology skill. Thus it can only be spent in the Archaeology Guild Shop. This tradeable currency will grant you lots of fun while you make them, so even though it is not as important as gold, you will still need it somehow. Hence make it a point to farm them while you are there.

Whether we like it or not, grinding for materials and gold is part and parcel of every free-to-play game. There is always the option of paying but we believe that takes the fun out of an honest game.
