Back in 2018, tucked away in a spare bedroom in Hougang, Singapore, Adeline and Zhi Kai started Kaiby Box, aiming to sprinkle a little joy with awesome baby gifts, especially toys. This idea popped up around the time they welcomed their first kiddo, sparking not just a family expansion, but a business adventure too.

Adeline, who had a knack for early childhood education, especially for kids with special needs, knew the real deal about how crucial play was for learning—something like what Einstein said about play being serious research. She used her experience from teaching and parenting to handpick the best toys that help kids learn and grow.

What began as a small gig with this couple quickly grew into a favourite among families all over Singapore. They wanted to give parents and their little ones something meaningful, not just gifts, but experiences packed with care, creativity, and quality.

When COVID hit and things got busier, space became tight. So, in 2021, they decided to grab some self-storage units to keep up with the demand but kept their base at their home office. This move was a big deal for them—it was like saying, “We’re growing up!”
