6 Travelling Outfits That Will Never Get Out Of Style

Fashion can sometimes be quite fickle.  Often we are always being pushed into buying what many consider to be the latest trend.  Yet it is also important that you make sure that you have pieces in your wardrobe that stand the test of time.  In this article, we are going to show you the best dresses for women that will never go out of style. This way you will be able to make sure that you include some outfits in your wardrobe that you can wear for many years to come. Once you’ve got the basics you’ll find it far easier to wear something that looks amazing.   The great thing about going for the basics is you’ll be able to mix and match.

The Jackie O And Grace Kelly Look

A very feminine look that certainly gained mass appeal back in the 1950’s but has also become increasingly popular today.  This is a look that will complement your curves and give you a polished look without being too over the top.   One of the favourite items to include in your wardrobe here is a beautiful full skirt that nips in at the waist.  Team this with a simple white blouse and a large belt.   All of which add a touch of glamour and sophistication to the outfit.

You could also go for a pair of Capri pants which you again team with a simple white blouse or an off the shoulder top.   To further enhance the look of either outfit team with a pair of ballet type shoes or a pair of kitten heels.

If you are going out in the evening when travelling them team a full skirt with embellishments along with a wrap shirt.  To finish off the outfit wear a classic pair of white pearl earrings along with a white single strand pearl necklace.

Go Wild

Even now animal print is still very fashionable.  The great thing about animal prints is they are made up of the more natural colours such as black, brown and beige. As well as being season less you will find that these can be worn with just about anything else in your wardrobe.   Plus they add a little edge to an outfit making it feel even more unique.

If you intend to bring along some animal prints keep it to a few small pieces.   Think about wearing a scarf or a pair of shoes with such design on them.   Also, avoid wearing any bright colours that will clash with the piece you choose to wear.

Choose Male Inspired Pieces

When it comes to wearing more masculine pieces you don’t need to worry.   The pieces you can get for your wardrobe these days are designed to be comfortable as well as stylish.  Some women are concerned that wearing male inspired pieces will cause them to lose their feminity.  This simply isn’t the case, it can have the complete opposite effect.

When it comes to buying such pieces choose ones that fit well, and aren’t oversized.  Look for well-tailored pieces that include a few feminine accents to them, such as a jacket that has more curved lapels.   Such outfits are best worn with a pair of colourful high heels and some large colourful jewellery.  For a night out why not team a pair of tailored shorts with a jacket and a sparkly top.   To further enhance the look wear a pair of silver or gold sandals to match the top.

Keep It Simple

Going for the minimalist look is something worth thinking about when you are travelling, especially if you are travelling often.   Go for simple shapes and keep down the number of accessories you wear.

The kinds of clothes that you should be looking to buy are jersey dresses or jumpsuits.  Ideally, they should be just one colour and then you can add a splash of colour to your outfit if you want.  Other pieces to include here are simple pencil skirts, white and black t-shirts and of course not forgetting a good pair of jeans.  When it comes to shoes anything goes, but again you should stick with more neutral colours.

You may want to consider buying some pieces that include some bold details to them.  For example, go for a little black dress where the neckline is more accentuated or the hem has been embellished.

Flower Power

Items with a floral motif will really help to bring out your feminine side.  These days you are spoilt for choice from soft pastel shades to much stronger colours.  So finding a pattern to suit your taste shouldn’t prove difficult. You don’t have to go overboard as they did in the 1960’s, but keep it to a minimum.

Yes, you can mix patterns if you want, but be careful.  Just remember to include one piece in your outfit that will link everything together.  The best colours for you to wear to help tone down the floral pieces are either blue or black.

Military Mania

As you will see military style pieces are very much on trend at the moment.  Yet we’ve been wearing such pieces for well over 70 years now. The main reason why we love wearing such pieces is that they are functional, and will suit women of all shapes and sizes.   By adding a few little accessories such as a pair of classic pearl earrings can add a touch of glamour and elegance to the outfit.

The thing, you need to remember is that you are wearing an outfit, not a uniform.  Look for pieces that contain some detail to them such as epaulets, insignias or cargo pockets on the pieces you are going to buy.  But make sure that what you buy doesn’t include too many of them together.

Team a well-tailored jacket that has some beading around the cuffs as well as large brass buttons with a white t-shirt and pair of dark blue or black jeans.  To complete your outfit team it up with a pair of flat pumps and some simple pearl jewellery.
