  • 2 -1/2 cups milk
  • 1 cup butter, cut into a cube shape
  • 8 ounces semisweet chocolate, adequately chopped
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
  • 2-2/3 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups superfine sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt


  • 6 tablespoons butter in cube shape
  • 4 ounces bittersweet chocolate, finely chopped
  • 2-1/2 cups superfine and confectioner’s sugar
  • 1/2 cup heavy whipped cream


  • 10 ounces semisweet chocolate, finely chopped
  • 2/3 cup heavy whipped cream


  1. Cook the milk, butter and chocolate in a large saucepan over low heat until it gets melt. Remove it from the heat and let stand for 10 to 15 minutes.
  2. Then beat the eggs and vanilla in a large bowl; stir in chocolate mixture until it gets smooth. After this, combine the all-purpose flour, sugar, salt and baking soda and then add it to the chocolate mixture and mix it well until the batter become thin.
  3. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Transfer the mixture to 4 already greased and floured round baking pans. Insert the toothpick in the center of it that will be a sign of cake is ready. Bake it for 20-30 minutes until the toothpicks come out clean. Before removing it from pans to wire racks, cool it for 10-15 minutes.
  4. Now for filling, take a small saucepan, melt butter and chocolate. Then stir it by adding confectioners’ sugar and cream until it becomes smooth.
  5. For ganache, boil the cream in a small saucepan. Add chocolate and whisk it until it gets smooth.
  6. Cool stirring occasionally, until ganache reaches spreading consistency. Then place one layer of cake on a plate. Spread the filling on it. After repetitions of cake layers, spread the ganache over top and sides of cake. Then store it in the refrigerator.
