Catering to bigger groups, Bistecca Tuscan Steakhouse offers thicker sharing cuts of premium bone-in steaks and large format Italian wines. Both are available to our guests dining in the main restaurant or upstairs in our private event space ‘La Soffitta’, which caters for up to 30 people and is available for lunch or dinner.
The two signature sharing cuts Fiorentina and Costata now come in three ascending sizes: 900g, 1.1kg and 1.3kg. Prices begin at $178++ for the 900g Costata of which serves 2-3pax, whilst 1.1kg serves 3-4pax and 1.3kg serves 4-5pax. Occasionally throughout the holiday season, different cuts both large and small will be available on an ad hoc basis.
Nothing beats a perfect pairing of red meat and red wine, so we offer select reds by the magnum or double magnum – 1500 and 3000 litres respectively.
Some of our magnum options include the following: Clerico Ciabot Mentin Ginestra, Barolo – Piemonte 2001 ($1200) –perfumed and aromatic with a hint of strawberry; Nicolis Ambrosan, Amarone della Valpolicella – Veneto 2000 ($1300) – deftly knit and trimmed by sculpted tannins; and Pian Delle Vigne, Brunello di Montalcino 2000, ($950) which delivers a nice contrast between fruity and savoury.
For those who want to go even bigger, the double magnum is always an option. One example would be the Sant’ Antonio ‘Campo dei Gigli’, Amarone della Valpolicella – Veneto 2008 – dark chocolate and black licorice notes, priced at $1380 per bottle.
