Florida is a state known for their warm tropical climate, sandy beaches, and amusement parks. What is not commonly known is Florida actually has some of the top golf resorts in America. There are actually around 100 Florida Golf Resorts spread across this great state. Combined with year-round sunshine, this makes Florida an excellent place to spend your next golfing vacation. Here, is a list of the top five golf resorts in Florida.

1. PGA National Resort and Spa

The resort is home to five excellent golf courses, to include the Champion, which is home to the PGA Tour’s Honda Classic. Finally, the Marriott Sawgrass Resort and Spa is probably one of the best resorts you will see anywhere in the United States. They feature the two famous golf courses, TPC Sawgrass and Dye’s Valley Course. This resort also has more to offer then golf, they feature a variety of beach activities, children’s programs, and wacky golf tournaments. In addition, they have the distinction of having one of the most premier hotel and spa accommodations anywhere.
